Question – Do you think user contributed content is important? – Yes or No
Most of you will agree yes user contributed content is important for any website. Here we talk two forms of user contributed/generated content. User contributed content can be found on classifieds, forum websites and blog/article websites where user can post there comments.
Google has cleared all doubts that user generated content is important for websites. But it is also prossible that user generated content may not be qualitative and relevant.
So my friends if you own any websites which have part of user contributed/generated content. You should be very careful about this. You need to validate and moderate content according to relevancy and quality. Only approve comments which are related to your post and articles. Do not approve classified ads with duplicate or thin content.
I have seen what many SEO/data entry guys are doing spamming. They keep on posting same classified ads on hundreds of classified websites. Which is not good for classified website. Same is applied with forums too.
